Hi, I’m Lesley!  Welcome to my page!  My journey into dance fitness and Zumba begin in 2007.  When the pandemic hit, dancing became a daily ritual, lifting my spirits and keeping me energized. The physical benefits were great, but the joy that dancing every day brought into my life was even more transformative.

After my father passed away, dance fitness helped me realize the huge and profound healing power of movement and music. It became clear to me that I needed to share this experience with others, especially within the senior community, those in transitionary stages and  beginners - groups I’m deeply passionate about supporting.​

After becoming licensed to teach in January 2024, it was full steam ahead. I continued earning additional certifications while expanding my classes throughout the Burlington community. Today, I teach independent community classes, City of Burlington programs, and classes on contract with gyms, retirement and long-term care homes, as well as corporate and private events. My deep-rooted passion for music is always at the heart of my classes, blending Latin rhythms with familiar favourites. I bring a fun and inclusive teaching style where everyone can enjoy the immense emotional and physical benefits of Zumba Gold regardless of age, ability or where they're starting from.

*Lesley is a licensed to teach Zumba B1, Zumba Gold,  Zumba Chair, Zumba Toning and Zumba Gold Toning. She continuously enhances her Zumba education obtaining certifications including Zumba Pro Skills and Zumba Cue Like Pro.  Additionally, Lesley is fully insured and holds a certificate in First Aid CPR-C & AED.
